Free data ends today?

lol yeah it's all there in the classifieds...

Ok I just loaded a 5Mb bundle for R9.25 and only 5Mb was loaded... No bonus, Sooooooo... The data special truly is over! **** I went to buy airtime, got to the shop at 11:53pm, bought the airtime and realised I had the wrong phone with me. Got home 11:59 and loaded airtime at 00:02 :( hahaha so close.

and so ended carry over too :-(

Alas, with the demise of extra data it seems also data carry over ended :(
I still had 457Mb left of Aug data yesterday, today, all gone, and now only have the 500Mb from the 1st Sept allocation, and it too will expire 30 Sep.
Not nice playing this, give us extra month carry over, then take it away

Feels like when vlive wasnt free anymore,(btw wireless-g prices for vodacom's hsdpa is good reading if i do say so myself)

so there is no more free bandwidth and no more carry-over? is this confirmed?

If so, that is a step backwards Vodacom! :(

I bought a data bundle this morning, no extra MB and expiry date is November 1.

Why is that? mine also shows Sunday, 1 November 2009... I thought we only get 30 days to use it or loose it?

okay my bad then, so one can buy one bundle (standard) and use it for two months?

Not exactly! Some forumites correctly helped me to understand that the 60 days only applies if you buy on the 1st of the month! So, for example, if you buy on the 20th of the month, you get till the end of that month, plus another 30 days!

Hope that helps :D

So if you bought a bundle today and the expiry is Nov 1st how many days is that? 60!
:D good for you, ... mine doesnt seem to want to last 60 days.... I got new 500Mb allocation today, and according to V4me expiry date is 30 Sep
