As you all would've noticed, we've been through a rough 3 weeks with the launch of the new OSS / BSS systems.

As a small token of appreciation for you guys sticking it out with us and helping with the debugging, iBurst will do the following:

1) Issue all iBurst contract and month-to-month users with an extra 250MB in the month of October. I'd prefer not to do it in this month as I don't want to confuse the systems even more.

2) In addition, if you register to get your billing electronically, or you have already registered, you'll get an additional 250MB. (all in an effort to save the rain forests).

Practically this means, we'll load an additional 250MB for every client in October and at the end of October we'll load an extra 250MB for all those on the electronic invoice system.

@mods: Can you sticky this please?

Jannie, this is much appreciated and I think this gesture will go a long way in calming the storm caused by the system glitches/upgrade. Thank you.

cool!

i must say jannie, dunno what you guys are doing in benoni, but iburst is pretty schweet up here - at one point i thought "hey, i wouldn't mind having this at home instead of my 3G" - but i'm checking it out a bit more and seeing how long it last before i commit to anything...

keep it up

Thank you Jannie and the iBurst team.

@ JannievanZyl: FYI, I have opted for electronic billing many moons ago but I still get papermail from iBurst every couple of months.

PS: I suggest that you make it clear to current and potential subscribers exactly where they can register for electronic billing, otherwise the iBurst Green Drive will fizzle out like the Nashua Green Drive did. They probably spent zillions on advertisements about their Green Drive but made it near impossible for anyone to switch from paper billing to electronic billing.

@ MadHawk: I'm surprised that you have coverage in District 9 because I "visited" there yesterday and didn't see a single iBurst base station around. :p:rolleyes:

Cheers for this Jannie.

However, have you guys now sorted out the mess that's been going on with BW allocation, throttling, etc? :)

That seems to be a once off bill option, where do we go to change this for monthly e-mail statements/invocies so that I can receive the additional 250 MB?

Would Service Provider's customers get 2nd 250MB (as Iburst already invoice the SP electronically) ?

Hi all

The iBoss team is aware of this.

Thanks for the feedback.
