Microsoft has yet again upped the ante in the gaming console war by rewarding holiday Xbox 360 buyers with two free games which equates to a retail saving of $ 90.
This move by Microsoft follows an announcement by Sony that it was trying to increase its market share in Europe by slashing the price of its 60GB PS3 by €100 and introducing a cheaper 40GB model for €399.
So far Nintendo’s Wii and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 have outsold Sony’s Playstation 3 worldwide, and the latest move by Microsoft will definitely compliment the strong performance of the recently launched Halo 3 game.

The company announced that it will be giving holiday buyers of its popular Xbox 360 console more value by including two games with every Xbox 360 console and Xbox 360 Elite, a retail savings of $90.
The acclaimed Forza Motorsport 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance will both be included for the recently reduced prices of $349.99 for Xbox 360 and $449.99 for Xbox 360 Elite. Both bundles will be available at your favorite game retailer by the end of October.
