Free /open souce Desktop virtualisation solution like citrix

Hello guys i am looking for a free /open source desktop virtualisation software with the same functionality as in Citrix that i can deploy to centrally manage a software application on a windows network .if any of you guys can point me in the right direction your help would be appreciated

can't your developers just pull their thumbs out their asses and write a proper centrally managed software app? I do it all the time.
