I had a 2Mbps account which was way too slow, then I upgraded to a 4Mbps account. That was unusable at night. When I cancelled I received this reply:

Thank you for your email

Your account is still being affected by shaping.

We are really sorry to hear that you wish to cancel.

Is there perhaps anything we can do for you to convince you to stay as part of the OpenWeb family?

I should have replied that having the account working would be a good start... :wtf:
 
It is a shame that they close the comments section on all the Openweb articles. I always had fun reading the comments. At least we have the forums to come to for some laughter.
