How did Manual always put it in Fawlty Towers?
"I know nuting...I'm froma Barcelona..."
lol, i believe that would be pre-paid data bundlesPPDB Point Positioning Data Base ???![]()
Mine too. 10c/mbI agree that the R2.00/MB out of bundle price simply does not make sense, actually I kinda think the whole data bundle thing is over-complicated and should be abolished in favour of a flat-rated per MB charge, but that's just my peronal opinion.
Myth! Can't download over about 8mb.Lol! Heard today that yesterday someone had put a 'big' file in queue to download through the night. They got a nice surprise this morning!
Over 50mb downloaded yesterday night/this morning. All with the 'vlive' apn and some kind of proxier thing(don’t ask me) with their PC. 50+mb @ R2/mb...over R100 in one night!
Ouch!
If they don't lock the door in this country then it REALLY IS their fault.Maybe I will go around tonight and see who does not have an alarm system in their homes and take their stuff. After all, it's their fault for not having security.
What I wonder is what will now happen after Vodacom stopped the only service keeping people on their network. What I'm getting at, is that we should not be accusing one another of stealing - Vodacom did allow the loophole to exist for far too long, but those that benefitted basically did so with Vodacom's temporary approval, this has now changed, and Vodacom has not accused those customers of stealing - neither should we.
Am I reading correct between the lines?
If you use VLive portal for its services it is free?

For those not in the loop. This myth is a myth!
I saw this with my own eyes. Remember....the vlive apn i believe is now a normal apn just like the others. That connection was a 'normal' connection then. DAP downloaded the file(s) @ about 2/3 kbps when i left the guy that day. I got a copy of the files on CD yesterday(16/08). ATI Drivers-35MB, CheatbookDB06-22MB. Total of about 57mb...@R2/mb = R114 . Charge was more than that as that was not all that was downloaded!
once again...Ouch!
Browsing on the portal itself is free and you don't pay for the data when you do a download. You DO pay for the content you download.

But then anyone who's stupid enough to use it with anything but a prepaid sim deserves anything and everything they get.
