LOL. Thanks Slayor. MtN is and wil be the best. Just Vodacrap are to dumb. Even before vlive was free this time i still had free net with the mms APN. AND for the vc-196-207-44-233.3g.vodacom.co.za i can change that as i want lol
 
20GB nice, rather keep vlive open v3g. I love hsdpa speeds!!!!!!!!!

Hi I am a newbie here who has been milking the freee net on VC for over a week now,somethings changed now the free net is over,back to my slow dialup, well at least it lasted a week. Anyone can help wit settings for the Vodafone Globetrotter 3G+HSDPA card, would give my first born, as soon as I can get layed that is:(!!

What? :confused: The free net has actually been over for 2 months now. There are rumours of using the mms apn but I don't think it's true since the mms apn is blocked and when you ask one of those people how they did it they don't reply.

Welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately I am not familiar with the card, but if it uses the normal dashboard you should only need to set the apn to internet and maybe the dial-up number to *99# or *99*1#.
 
Kind of gathered that, must have been a fluke or something. Yeah got it first hand that guys do not reply even though they offer to give you the details.:rolleyes:

No they don't, unless they got tired of all the complaints... yeah right. The system goes in and out all the time so it might seem like that. It's probably the reason they are not offering ppdbs.
 
Stil free like always. On any site. Even if you have airtime on sim.

Don't think you can. You can download large files with YF however. ;) There was this service offered on the forum where you let the server download the file for you and then you could download it later at full speed but he "allegedly" ripped some people off. Would have worked well lining up a few torrents and then downloading them on hsdpa. :D

He DID rip some people off and also...the service IS working well
