Obviously not all free stuff is bad, but look at reviews for 000hosting

Still they offer a lot, but what's the point if the uptime is like 30% - uptime meaning site being accessible, when the server gets overloaded or goes offline it shows a "server overloaded - please wait" that's why their logged uptime is a lot higher then it really is.

Free is not necessarily bad, but companies are prepared to pay to mitigate a perceived risk. If your free Linux server crashes, who are the bosses going to point a finger at??

I was called to a customer to fix a problem that I resolved in 5 minutes. I insisted that they don't pay, cause it really was no trouble to fix. The IT manager told me "Conrad, if this place goes tits up and they find out that I bring in charities to do the work; its my ass." :)

they offer it for free becuase if the client is satisfied with the service and performance of the free hosting he can simply upgrade his account to the unlimited hosting for $5
 
Which is what you'll get free if other people actually go forth and spend $$$$.

I bet their support on the free hosting is crap!.

But it's free, so who can complain lol...

Well i already contacted there support and there reply to 2 different issues i had was under 30min and problem solved
 
They are kaak......registered with them 2 months ago and am still waiting to hear from them......:eek::sick::mad::rolleyes:

If you go have a look at their forum you see all the problems that people are having with the ''free service''.........

If you want a simple sollution go to www.webs.com

no cpanel,etc - but extrememly easy for beginners.

it does have statistics though - and my site is always online if i check.
