Freeze on Boot - SSD?

Have you managed to find a solution by now? I am very much interested to hear what the problem was.

Well the solution for me was to reinstall Windows so I'm not sure what the problem was but it seems to be working fine for now.

Damn it screwed up again. Just froze completely and when I rebooted it wouldn't detect the drive at all. :(

Make and model? Firmware version?

So it's not seen by the BIOS?

Nope, initially I had to completley shut off power and then the BIOS would find it but now when I did that it didn't see it at all.

I think it might be time for a warranty claim.

I emailed them they need a POP which I don't have. :( (bought secondhand, was fine when I bought it)
They suggested I do a power cycle which I will try..

I'd do what you did to get it working and then copy of the email files off first thing and then replace the drive. If you want, you could plug the drive into another working pc and see if you could get it alive again, but I wouldn't want to use a faulty drive as my primary drive - too much frustration waiting to happen.

Yep I have since tried another PC it seems the drive is pretty dead.

I have managed to find where it was from so emailed them with invoice number I think it still has warranty left.
