Hi All,
I have a very frustrating issue with Fortinet VPN and a D-Link DSL-2750U router.
If I try connect to our office Fortinet VPN (hosted by VOX) via my 10MB Telkom ADSL, with said D-Link DSL-2750U router, it disconnects after about 20 seconds.
I'm on win 10 with latest foticlient and I've tried a Win 7 laptop, same thing. I have no other issues, and actually latency and bandwidth, checked with speedtest, is pretty good (sub 20ms and 8mbps +). A continuous ping to the VPN host doesn't time out. I've tried checking if I can see anything in wireshark and debug logs for forticlient - and I can't see anything except for a break in connection. I've attempted port forwarding all 65536 TCP and UDP ports.
I've also had Vox check and even get fortinet support involved, but fortinet have frankly been no help at all.
We have a juniper SSL VPN - which works perfectly - but may be discontinued in the near future.
I'm pretty sure this is a router thing, and I upgraded the firmware when I got it, I've not managed to find anything newer.
Anyone else had this issue and manged to fix it? Please don't recommend chatting to the IT guys at work...cos I'm afraid that's me!
Thank you!
