Frequent disconnects

Hi, MTN DD

I've been on using 350mb bundles on 3G for four months now. I have enjoyed great speed without disconnects. However, things have changed over the last six days. I cannot stay connected for more that 30 minutes. It even gets worse If I idle on a website for more than 5 minutes without clicking a link.

I am based in Sunnyside, Pretoria. One of my contract with CellC expires end of the month and I was looking at MTN for 3G/HSDPA packages.

Is this a temporary problem? I need to be sure before I tie myself to one of those 24months contracts.
 
I've been having the same problem this morning in Midrand ... frequent disconnections on 3G/HSDPA. And it happens after a few minutes.

There have been a few problems on our network, but things should have sorted themselves out during the upgrade this weekend.

I have the same problem, Disconnect every 5 Minutes... Fearie Glen PTA... The service is unuseable !!!

Will have a look at the service tonight.

I'm still experiencing frequent disconnects. I have to reconnect if I have been idle for about 5 minutes or so.:(
 
3 - 4 Months ago I would go days with out a single disconnect now I can't go 12 Hours without being disconnected a number of times.
 
Guys

Can I ask that you please PM your cell numbers so that I can escalate this and see if I can get this sorted for you ASAP

I've been connected for almost three hours without a single disconnect. Way to go MTN & MTNDD.

As it seems i'm the only one posting ;)

My connection has been very stable over the last few days....
It's allmost back to normal... Speed and latency has changed over the time I started to use the service...
