Why are you waiting on people to invite you out?
Start organizing with friends to go out some where, doesn't matter if they have girlfriends invite the girlfriends along. If your people are truly friends they will soon begin inviting you to stuff.

If it's something you really want to go to (i.e. a show) & you have no one to go with, go solo. I have many times.

I know I need a gfriend but that's another whole separate story.

And how do you plan on doing that while sitting at home?

So long as you're not fapping your weekend away - you're not doing too badly . Join a social club at meet some new people (something I've been meaning to do as well) and have some new experiences. Even if you don't feel like being social, you'll more than likely come home having enjoyed the experience than had you not gone. And you learn loads about yourself and others when you drop yourself into new situations like that.

Forums are also a good idea. Find some with different topics and get involved with meaningful posts and you'll soon be exploring new ideas and learning new things. Maybe a philosophy forum, or a science forum or a self-improvement forum.

I have managed to be lucky enough to always have a great group of friends, so i dont know really what anyone is going through.

Hi Forum,

Am I the only one who generally has fck all planned for almost every single weekend?
The only time I get up to anything is if someone calls me or I hear of this or that on the wkend itself.
It's Friday night and I'm still sitting at work surfing the net and being bored.
I'd rather be bored here than go home to an empty house and feel kuk lonely.

So I scrolled through my phone and realized I have very few friends to call up really.
At my age , they are either all with fiances or gfriends, or just live too damn far.

I guess the useless point of this thread is to ask WTF everyone else does on friday night when
they have no plans? I just feel completely alien like when it comes to weekends and people are
buzzing because they have so many plans and I'm just like 'nothing man, just chilling'.

Should I start reading possibly? At this moment I feel like a sensitive little failure, apologies.
