Please ensure the price that the call center charges you for a data bundle, agrees with the prices reflecting on their website.... do not trust anything they say.

Bought 3gb bundle the other day, was quoted something like R589. Website states R520. They had to launch special request to "give you this lower price" and the out of bundle rate they said is R1.00 per mb on this bundle even though website states 50c. Sure this sounds like small change, but if they steal R200 pm from each of their 9million customers its a fortune from false advertising, when even the R520 is already insane...

So they logged a ticket to tell me why its different and will take "14 working days" to come up with an answer... i feel a hellopeter coming....

The my gig 3 standard costs R520.00 with the out of bundle rate being 50c
The my gig 3 advanced costs R565.00 with the out of bundle rate being 18c

Their website further say 500mb @ R185 equals to 34 cents/mb (instead of 37cents/mb). Another false advertising! They must be locked up these............

yeah even if you take 512mb instead of 500mb, it still works out to 36c per meg and not 34c.

Your making assumptions that 9million peps are using VC for their broadband connection.
