I think we have all learned something useful from this thread.

OP needs to buy a bicycle or learn to cook.
 
Anybody that loans money from me must repay me with 20% ontop...friend or no friend :)
Never had any problems after that :)

So, that's 20% on top of the 0% they normally pay back?

I never loan people money. Nor do I expect it from them. If I need the money badly enough, I'll go to a financial institution, that's what they're there for.

Its work for me because they stopped asking me to borrow them my money :)

I have a rule that says never give money to someone who doesn't know the difference between borrow and lend.

I'm getting a headache just looking at that picture, if someone told me that polony and it's derivatives was repurposed industrial waste I would believe them.

It's not the first time doing something like that. So I'm starting to wonder if indeed she is my friend. I have helped her in the past when she was sick and I helped her when she was going for job interview. I have never borrowed anything from her and never return it. Funny things she does borrow other people money but when it's me it's a different story.

Maybe look at things from her side. Maybe she has been burnt in the past and doesn't want to mess up your friendship with money. I've been messed about by friends in the past, so as a policy I never ever lend money to friends.

Sounds like she's trying the old one way street trick, I'd ask her straight up what the go is, ie why she doesn't appear to trust you but be prepared in advance to lose a "friend".

Then again she may just be a person that has been ripped off many times in the past and her hard and fast rule when it comes to money is no and it's nothing personal.
