FrogFoot speed upgrade, anyone got theirs yet?

They said that they will start moving people over to the new speeds from tomorrow.

Nope, patiently waiting for the bump from 100/10 to 150/30

Increased billing/payment was on time and the App shows the new speeds, but a few speedtests confirm the old speeds are still applied

Mine was upgraded at some point early this morning. Took them long enough :)
 
Frogfoot have issued communications that the upgrades are ongoing and are expected to be completed by the 10th/11th of February. As with all major re-provisioning projects, these things take time at scale.

Probably their ancient systems that require a human to go click click click for each ONT they have on their network. As according to their latest article on MyBroadband

I was actually wondering if anyone had an idea on the process, I can understand a phased process, catch small problems before big problems.

Do they have blanked script they run in POPs, does some one have to do it manually per POP down to creating new VLAN and move each users, or just log in to each POPs and change the VLAN parameters etc ?

@websquadza and @portcullis normally have some insight or does @Frogfoot Fibre perhaps have a nice puff piece that goes in to some what detail for those interested
 
Nope, no speed increase here. They did say that it will take up to two weeks to see the changes propagate, but already paying more...

These kinds of things are mostly scripted across the FNO networks. The issue here is the variance in hardware used at POPs, and the number of POPs. Larger area builds are more homogenous; large OLT chassis, automated configs and consolidated POP infrastructure.. MDUs and smaller areas (think the old Blitz network and other acquisitions) are a mis-match of OLT vendors, OLT per MDU scenarios and minimal automation. Add to that different backhauls and backhaul technologies. It's a fairly complicated task to achieve at scale. Remember, each endpoint needs to be re-provisioned with the new correct speed.

As a ISP do you notice anything with the speed upgrades on your side?
or are heavy users already on bigger packages and other people don't really change there habits?
 
Waiting on my upgrade to 250. Cisp says 10th of Feb. Let's see if frogfoot performs
 
Got mine a couple of days ago already.
Maybe they are starting with the peasants first.
30 - > 40 mb.
