Frogfoot Swellendam

Just wanted to start a thread for issues related to Swellendam.
 
I'll be the first to go. My install at the end of March went smoothly with my ISP Vox. Thereafter I have continuous PPPOE disconnect every 10 or 15 minutes. Not sure if this is an ISP issue or Frogfoot. Speeds when collected have been very good. Anyone else in Swellendam having similar issues?
 
So Frogfoot finally resolved the issue last night. No disconnects fro 12 hours now - hopefully the fix remains stable.
 
Frogfoot service was down for two hours tonight - service resumed @ 20h35.
 
Been running 50/5 with Frogfoot via Mweb since early February. Last night was the first time I've experienced any problems. The "down" was somewhere between Caledon and Mosselbay. Thus far it has been very stable with excellent speed and service. Been with Mweb (first iAfrica) since 1997.
 
Frogfoot doing some maintenance last night and this morning my fibre is not performing well. Hopefully it improves during the day.

Mossel Bay broken as well, supposed maintenance last night was there to fix "ALL THE ISSUES" we have with FF lately. BS excuse from VOX yesterday with regards to my ticket I logged due to congestion at night for the last 2 weeks.
 
Starting to get a little pissed here with our connection dropping every 20 - 30 minutes for the last two weeks. Frogfoot yet to respond. Actually Vox still to respond

Well I tell you probably something you already know Frogfoot are useless. Yet another outage in Swellendam region this is heading the same way as PE . Maybe time to switch to Herotel.
 
Mossel Bay as well, ISP aid its not the its FF, contacted FF they said no outages. Whos is your ISP?
 
How has your connection been this last week? We had high latency and loads of packet loss between the frequent disconnects, at the moment its just packet loss with the occasional spike in latency, still no feedback from FrogFoot or Vox, keep saying support will get back to you. I don't know how its such a wide spread issue but no-one is even acknowledging it. Its like Vox and Frogfoot are just hoping it might go away on its own. We have been posting traceroutes almost daily on Twitter tagging Vox and Frogfoot. Usually if Swellendam goes down chances are good that Mossel Bay is also down.

Seemed to stabilise for 2 -3 days but since yesterday starting to disconnect again, as you say Vox Just log the ticket and say we'll get back to you but never solve the problem.
 
Still have lots of disconnects - VERY Frustrating and VOX / FROGFOOT still do absolutely nothing!!!!
 
They claim to have fixed the problem but I think not disconnecting every 30 seconds
 
Finally seems to be settling down - no disconnects for 24 hrs now :)

Seems all the issues we've been having these last few weeks are resolved, whatever they fixed last week sorted it out, sad we had to suffer trough several weeks of problems, at least its working now again.

Hopefull, it's still working well here in the Dam
