Frogfoot Swellendam

Well that did not last long had a stack of disconnects this morning - re-opened a ticket with VOX
 
Still having loads of disconnects this morning - not a happy camper on Frogfoot
 
Frogfoot have still not sorted their fibre in Swellendam always having these disconnects. Open a ticket and within a few hours get the following message from them closing the ticket:


Closed: Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for entrusting us with your service request. The Outage affecting your services has been resolved. If you are still not connected please contact us on 087 805 0530 as we are open 24/7. This request has been closed. To receive outage notification please log onto your portal where you can subscribe. If the problem reoccurs please contact us at [email protected] or 087 805 0530. We are always more than happy to assist, please feel free to call and ask for me. Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Kind Regards, DB De Villiers Technical Engineer: FTTH Support L1

Meantime we sit here with constant disconnects:

They won't. they'll pass the blame onto FF which they own, and you're going to eventually hear about maintenance/upgrades being done.
Get used to them. we have them almost every other week in Port Elizabeth.
 
I Only have to stay with them for 4 more months then they will get the boot. ADSL was far better here than fibre never had these problems with Telkom.
 
Still having lots of problems on FrogFoot / Vox fibre. Now suddenly having continuous "disconnected extensive data loss" as well as "PPPOE disconnected"

I'm not a happy camper on FrogFoot / Vox Fibre. Roll on March when I will walk away from them.
 
Now VOX just close my Ticket again without resolution. Morons. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Good Morning @Stalker ,

Reviving this thread, which fibre service would you recommend. Note all the negative feedback about Vox, has the bad reputation been resolved?

I see Openserve and Herotel only have a max of 10Mbps... Remaining on Frogfoot, VOX seems to be the best priced? Looking at atleast 30/30 and C-way/VTS/etc are in the range of R500-700.

Edit: My other option is to go Afrihost over Frogfoot for R620pm.
