Frogfoot Thread

I don't see any subform for the FNO's on here...
I wanted to say that Old Froggy is the worst FNO services just go down and the ISP's selling on the service are just pointing fingers now all at the FNO. So much for a so-called privately owned network operator...

Saying it in general - my openserve line works 35 days 0 downtime.

I had issues a while back but I went to their Facebook page and it was sorted
that's nice

I'm finally inclined to agree. I used to be so happy when I first got fibre because Frogfoot was the first company to actually install fibre in my area when the outlook for it to get fibre was "never in my lifetime." Not only did they bring fibre to my area but they brought gigabit fibre to it; well this is what gigabit fibre looks like on their network:

Lately, every second week I have been coming home unable to look forward to playing some games with my friends because the network has gone to $#%@! If I do connect to a game it suffers from immense packet loss and lag spikes making the game practically unplayable. This is what a PingPlot to the local Dota 2 server looks like tonight for me:

You have 8.5% loss to your own router. Suggest you sort that out first.

Yeah its the same here, Frogfoot goes down once a week, for a couple of hours every time

Hi

Sorry for the late reply. Are you still experiencing issues today?

Yes, as a Frogfoot customer, I have to agree. My line is down again since yesterday. I think that's 3 times in three weeks. There have been plenty of other times before this. I have to wonder if the fact that unprotected lines were just laid across the top of my complex boundary wall has something to do with it, but I don't know enough about fibre lines. Since switching to fibre I've had more hassles than I ever did with copper lines. I'm thinking about switching to LTE, because fibre in general, and Frogfoot in particular, seems unreliable.

Frogfoot Business Fibre

Why is it that the first customer in an area is charged a higher price than advertised on your website?
Other customers thereafter can apply at the website price.
For how long do you expect the first customer to pay a premium?
What happens when the first customer cancels their service?

Good day AirWolf, Can you please assist with more information on this enquiry. Prices advertised differ with each ISP. Cancellation terms and premium queries are also managed by your respective ISP.

Getting DNS to Google and cloudflare 20ms on Frogfoot while my backup line Openserve a nice 4ms latency. Rubbish friggin network
No.

Rubbish friggin ISP that cannot route properly.

Layer three traffic has NOTHING to do with the underlying infrastructure.

Yeah frogfoot is down here as well. Ha! This week as well, so for the 4 weeks that iv've been with frogfoot.....they've been hard down 4 times, once a week
