Front Row axed in Lion - what now?

The axing of Front Row in Lion is really a disappointment for me. I really liked this App especially for watching my movies and being able to use the remote control.
What was Apple thinking! Maybe they feel they can make more money by bringing it back as an optional paid for App.
But now that it is gone what App should I choose - Boxee, Plex or XBMC?

OK, I now see that movies open to full screen mode in iTunes, which is really cool.

I was more concerned about this before I realised I couldn't update my mini to Lion. Bit of a shame though.

Use iTunes fullscreen with the remote app? ...yeah it does suck though but luckily for me I stopped using it a year ago or I would be pissed.
