I'm sure many people come here to complain about Frontosa, but here's my problem.
Bought a 1060 Strix from them last year (which means a little bit more than 2 years is still left on the warranty.)
And now one of the fans starts buzzing quite loudly when the fan speeds are above 70%, they don't even have to test it, I could show them the second I walk through the door.
But they're saying that they will hold onto the card and wait for other 1060 STRIX's bought from them with the same problem as mine to be sent in before they will repair it (in an extreme made-up situation, that could never happen and i'd wait years, or they could just hold onto it until the warranty runs out and just give it back without repairing and say that the warranty is finished.)
What am I even waiting for when it's not even up to them to make me wait a possible infinite amount of time? A warranty is a warranty and my broken fan needs a replacement. Am I waiting for cheap 3rd party to send Frontosa used fans so they can replace mine with bad quality spares? probably.

Direct quote from one of the emails one of there technical guys popped at me
"If returned keep in mind that if the fault is with the fan, replacement is only possible and dependant on other RMA cards with similar fans to be used for replacement being booked in, hence ETA is not foreseeable"

Don’t know this company but their response is ludicrous. Demand a brand new one

...They are one of the most popular distributors in the country...either their tech guy is new and didn't put much thought into what he says to clients, or they actually want to stick to what he said and cause unnecessary problems for themselves. Quoted him and sent it to their other departments, but no reply so i'm guessing that they want a problem.

I always wait long for rma, rx 550 took 2 months recently.

R9 290 took 4 months to get replaced, which they upgraded to rx 580.

4 months is quite long, but something as simple as a fan possibly off it's bearing slightly is definitely not something that should take longer than 2 weeks at most

Dafaq?

From the time I first emailed Wootware about my 1080Ti, till I was offered cash/alternative (since they didn't have the exact mode in stock, and didn't know when they would again) was 7 days.

Yep i was offered account credit on the spot, but the card was purchased by the insurance company and they can only credit the account holder of the card.

I had exactly the same issue. I sent in a Asus RX470 and had to wait for them to get a used fan to replace the broken one with.

It was with them more than a month.
