Is it bad for my hair if it freezes? I wash my hair every morning and usually bolt out of the house with wet hair in order to catch my bus on time.

I find that anything above -5⁰C is fine and my hair doesnt freeze on the 4min walk, but lately my morning temperatures have been between -12⁰C & -7⁰C and by the time I get on the bus my hair is frozen into a solid mess.

Why don't you just get up earlier?

Your hair isn't freezing - the moisture is. When you finally defrost ( :D ) it should have no impact on your hair. Hair is dead in any case, so you're doing no harm there. And the worst that can happen is that it melts a little bit of moisture in your hair with it. I wouldn't be too concerned, but I would dry my hair properly if I were you...

From your OP I would deduce that you have short hair and you do not have a private vehicle .... how am I doing ? :D

I'd rather lose all my hair. Sleep is one of my few true pleasures in life!

Quite badly I'm afraid :( I have long hair (well past my shoulders) and I do own a car but a) the company pays my public transport costs, b) it's quicker to go by bus as they have dedicated lanes where as I would sit in crazy traffic & c) I get to read or chill out instead of stressing about getting cut off by some tard.

Why do you wash your hair every day? Every 2nd day is fine.

Habit more than anything I suppose? Also, I generally feel less clean if I haven't washed my hair (and my hands feel funny for the whole day - I cant explain it, it just is). I use a hair masque once a week to replenish all the natural oils I'm stripping from my hair though, so it's actually pretty healthy.

And now I'm sure every male on myBB is fast asleep :p

If you love your sleep too much, go to bed earlier. Then get up earlier to allow your hair time to dry. Seems easy enough :p
