Hello
this is my small problem...
I have several Web-thermosensors in my network and want to centrally archive their measurement values. I want to set each sensor for regular sending of the current measurement values via FTP. Than I want to specify my FTP Data Station as a FTP server. Also I want to create central measurement data archives in the internal memory of the box and on a connected USB storage medium, which are then available to you at any time for individual processing.
Is for this requirements a network hardware at the market?
I hope to find here some guys, which have experience in this direction.:)
Many thanks in advance.

i wouldnt push.. i would pull... get someone to whip up a php/shell scwipt that queries the sensors via HTTP and slices and dices the response (excel compatible csv files i assume)... dumps it to disk, and runs a cronjob to update to USB when its plugged in. assuming your "Data Station" is running Linux. I will do it for R500 rond.

Maybe look at a syslog server, send everything to it? Then use Splunk to analyze your logs.

Hi ITguru

Take a look at the FTP- and Samba servers for DIN rail mount from W&T.
They have a FTP Data Station which offers the functionality of an FTP and Samba server in a compact package. Use these ways to access the internal memory of the box, or to directly access a connected data medium via USB.
Hardware:

Maybe contact for help the W&T distributer 4TMC in SA.

Good luck
