hi! any1 know any ftp site, local 1's of course, where i can download from?

There is still one from IS and another one but they have linux distro's and some other stuff.

The top one has game demos + other stuff and the second one has linux distros and a few other things

There shouldn't be one, otherwise they don't want you to have it. Which FTP asks for a username and pass?

Then there is also ftp://ftp.uunet.co.za

But you would need to overcome the "I cannot see any folders inside" issue though

Unless you are the owner of the ftp server, Nope. If you know the folder's name though, then you can access it.
eg ftp.uunet.co.za/melkhom/
