Vumatel will sell products using the Telkom fibre network.

Seriously though - if there's anyone in that slightly darker bit, I'd be happy to split a fibre line with you along with some Point to Point wireless antenna? Interested? I'll chuck in a homebug too

I know I keep resurrecting this old thread - but does anyone have contact details for the contractors doing this work?

We've had people knock on the door a few times to ask if they can get to a telecoms pole behind our flat - only thing is, it isn't our garden, its our landlords (building is split, he's on the ground floor).

If this is the reason we don't have fibre at our end of the road, then I can try to co-ordinate them both... but so far we've just had people knock on the door - me show them the door they should be knocking on, then they walk off? (happened 3 times now - but stopped recently).

So if anyone know who I can contact to aid this hold-up, please let me know! Really need fibre sooner rather than later

Anyone else know any of the contractors responsible for Camps Bay roll-out and if so, can they just PM me their contact details?

They just installed fibre from Telkom pole to new fibre box on my house, they are coming back in a few days or so to finish up, will try and get a number for you
