FTTH to a Private Home Installation - SADV - Progress Documented

Just an update on me using my Huawei B618-65D for fibre. It does automatically failover to LTE if the fibre fails. What an absolute pleasure. I just set the ethernet to AUTO.
 
Just an update on this build. I have now upgraded the network with all Cat 6 cables, Edgerouter x5 and Unifi AC LR with Gbps switches. I have also upgraded my service with Home-Connect to 200/200 which is their highest offering. Things are looking sweet these days.

What happened to the 1Gbps service?
 
Just an update a year and a bit later, I’m now on 500/200 which is part of a Vumatel promotion and still with Home Connect with no real problems to report with the ISP or FNO. All has been well.
 
Great stuff, I'm now on 100/50 with afrihost, things have been pretty much flawless
 
After 21 months with Home-Connect who were outstanding and I have no complaints whatsoever I moved to Cool Ideas on their 500/200 package.
