Hello guys. I drive a 2000 Opel Astra 1.6 16v.The other day the engine check light suddenly came on. Took it to a guy who read fault codes. Showed four faults. He cleared error codes. We started car and immediately fuel vent valve error came back up. He did not know where it was. I spoke to Opel agents and nothing shows up on engine harness side. Do the Astra s in South Africa not have this parts fitted. Thanks for help in advance. Car is running 100%. Just fitted rings and had head overhauled. Car had done 248000 km

See if you can follow these diagrams, it looks like it is somewhere close to the intake, that looks like a strut mounting so it should not be too difficult to find, you can also follow the fuel lines.

Thanks no valve fitted but wires are there. Apparently the wires have a cap on them with a resistor inside. I think resistor had blown putting light on. Thanks for help appreciated

Were you able to test the other one with a multimeter?
