Microsoft said on Tuesday it will soon release a version of its Internet Explorer web browser tailored to put surfing the web with mobile telephones on par with using desktop computers.

Are M$ just ignoring this fact? I don't get it. Opera Mini has been out for aaaages, and it's pretty damn good, too.

Microsoft will really have some catching up to do, and by the sounds of things their mobile browser will only be for smart phones whereas opera Mini works on any java phone.
