Where do I find the full software bundle for the E220 and will it work with a Vodafone branded E220? It is unlocked but obviously doesn't recognize the APN's for MTN.

I'm pretty sure those are just the firmware updates, the actual 'F@stlink Dashboard' software downloads have been missing from MTN South Africa's site for about four months now.
You need to flash you firmware - I did it for my dads one (by accident) ... works like a charm. Just make sure you have backup power or your doing this on a lappie else you will brick it if you have a power failure.
The E620 firmware is still available on MTN's old device download page. Now what about us using a Fastlink E620??? I only see a E630 there...??? huh??
If you can't get hold of MTN's dashboard, try Huawei Mobile Partner (choose the UTPS download for your device), and MDMA. Both will work with any cellular network. All I need is the actual software package, can someone connect their MTN device and copy the software install of the mounted CD Rom?
Just for the record, Vodacom 3G will recover it for you free of charge. Done this twice already![]()
The joke was my dad was not happy with the Vodacom software and I was flashing his device and I selected the wrong firmware (MTN) ... should have renamed my downloads better.
End of the day my Dad was thrilled with the MTN software and has no plan to go back to Vodacom.

So which is it?That sounds like what I need to do, only mine is network locked.
I think you are confused between flashing the firmware, which runs on the device's own CPU, and flashing the dashboard software, which installs to and runs on your PC.The joke was my dad was not happy with the Vodacom software and I was flashing his device and I selected the wrong firmware (MTN) ... should have renamed my downloads better.
