My client that is based in Pretoria is looking for a VB.NET developer to join their elite team. They are an exciting small and fast growing company with young people. It is a relaxed office environment with Squash Court, pool table & jaccuzi for staff relaxation. The position would entail developing in-house systems used by South Africa’s major banks in the property and vehicle markets.
Minimum requirements
•University degree in IT is a big plus!
At least 5 years relevant IT experience in:
1.net framework 2 – 3.5
2.VB.net
3.ASP.net
4.MS SQL
5.Javascript
6.Database Design
•The following experience would be a bonus:
1.AJAX
2.Classic ASP
3.Silverlight
4.MySql
5.jQuery
6.XML
Job Specification:
This exciting role will involve the following:
•Developing new application from verbal specifications. This means that you need to be able to understand the requirements from verbal communication, transform this into a technical specification and then build the system using industry standards.
•This is a fast paced development environment with loads of opportunity and many interesting challenges.
•Enhance and fix current applications.
•Develop websites using the languages and tools mentioned above
SALARY: R25000 to R30000 per month
