Main Purpose of the Position
Main focus of the BackOffice software developer is to maintain existing Backoffice suite of tools/applications. Secondary focus is developing new applications/tools within the BackOffice suite.
Key Deliverables and Weighting
The BackOffice Suite you will be developing on includes TaxWare, SecWare, a dashboard application (Practice Today), and – CaseWare Time – which is not developed in-house. Also includes integration components and import/data handling tools.
The Scope of the role includes :
a) reviewing feature requests/bugs
b) building specs
c) getting them approved
d) coding and
e) Passing quality reviews.
You will be working closely with the (your supervisor) and the QA team.
Management Level and Details of the Management Component of this role
N/A, this is not a Management level.
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· At least 3 years’ experience on C#, Transact-SQL, Source Code Repositories, Bug tracking software.
· At least 3 years’ experience writing code from specs, prototyping.
Behavioural / Soft Competencies, Skills and Abilities
· Fast-paced with efficiency of execution.
· Accurate & attention to detail.
· Follows through on commitments.

· IT/Computer Science qualification.

Working Environment & Travel
High intensity fast paced environment. There is a great deal of team work but strong individual accountability for each member.
Working hours
08h30 – 17h00, overtime required when necessary. Punctuality is important
