Hi good people of MyBB

I'm in the market for a good funeral cover. Mostly because of family. I've got life cover and my current insurances will pay a few bucks in the unfortunate event of my death.
Hollard seems fairly priced but worried about non payment when its time to claim. Please feel free to share any experiences good or bad. Sanlam and old mutual are a bit expensive when I add more people. Looking to cover like 8 people. Thanks in advance.

1. Do you have a provident funds or pension funds, they sometimes include funeral cover, by default.
2. Check your current financial service provider (bank).

I'll visit the branch and hear what they have to offer me. Thanks

I must say that Capitec funeral cover looks attractive and well priced.
Need to read more about it.

Std Bank has a group scheme where you pay r16 for r6000 cover, you can stack it also by taking 3 covers on a person r16x3 for r6000x3.

There is a age limit (65 i think)
It is great for extended family that will depend on you to help out with an unfortunate event one day.

This cover is by far the cheapest i have seen...

I toke out a cover from capitec for my wife grandparents, premium is r720 for them. Age 78 and 80. They are abit old but capitec is really not cheap, atleast that is what i think

How much have you covered them each for the premium to amount to R720 ?
