So whats the deal with Furius guild on Lightbringer? Is it a SA guild? Are they recruiting?
I know of 2 south africans in it probably more...
Would like to start raiding more seriously but still play with SA people if possible.

only thing thats differant between SA & non SA guilds are the amount of times you hear lekker & braai in guild chat
 
never heard of the guild ,most s.a guilds is haveing trouble downing onyxia 25 man,heard last time half the raid dc when whelps spawn,so after 3hours they still did not down it :P

Where in my non s.a guild only i dc and then he still goes down :P

Imo its just another guild like HORDES which fail >.<
 
Horde do not fail >.<

On Dentarg the top 20 guilds only have 3 alliance guilds :p Of which the top 4 are horde
 
I've been in non SA raiding guilds before and generally it's not a huge difference. I do prefer playin with people who can relate to things like high latency because of our internet and stupid things like load shedding...
I love my current guild, but its more casual and relaxed, the serious raiders either pug or tag along with bigger guilds. I'd just prefer to be in the guild I raid with, it just makes things simpler.

Double posting, but I'm too lazy to put 2 quotes in 1 post :p

Anyway...I prefer non SA guilds. I've been in a SA guild before and the dedication is shocking...rather have a braai or suip sessie...All I want is progression, so I'm in a decent all nation guild :D
 
yes i was refering to the HORDES guild on lightbringer which is a bunch of retards which pug there raids

I wouldnt mind non SA guilds so much, but there are so many s***y guilds out there with about 50% of them with worse english than most afrikaans people. Furious seem like quite a good guild, found their forums and seems to be all nation(UK) guild. Unless there are any other Alliance guilds on Lightbringer raiding? :confused:

To pug a raid on any realm, alliance or horde, you need a completely different mindset to raiding.

1. You cant have any high expectations of the raid 1 shotting everything.
2. A lot of time will be lost due to people dropping out, waiting for replacement.
3. Likely to wipe much more
4. People will do stupid things due to levels of communication being much lower than guild runs.
5. You will attract some people who arent in a guild for very good reasons :D

However, sometimes a pug raid can be really good.

I personally prefer full guild runs and I am fortunate to be in a guild which is casual, yet never needs to fill the raid from outside the guild. If we are short we either have a go with what we got, or go somewhere else. The only raid, I have ever pugged was VoA.

I think that pug'ing raids is not the ideal way to meet new players. 5 man instances are the best way to do that. A raid is just too big. Rather pug heroic 5 man and you will soon find a a guild that suits you. Its how our guild finds good people as well.

Possibly, what level ? if its over lvl 20, then no, thats not me. lol. I got at least 1 character on every EU realm :D

My main realm is Alonsus. I have about 4lvl 80's there

Any1 else playing on Lightbringer in a pretty good pve guild then?
 
I have to agree, HORDES is made of massive fail. How the majority of the guild can be so clueless, and such a bunch of idiots is beyond me. Its almost as if Hordedragon goes out of his way to only recruit asshats.

EDIT: The guild I am in actually has a recruit rule that we automatically decline previous HORDES members.

At least on that realm, all the asshats are in 1 guild. Or is that oversimplifying things ? :D
