No surprise, NoWire ..... no problem !

Was on the stand today .... was nice to interact with the people, but it is not much of a sales opportunity, unless you have some budget conscious clients that did not buy it before ...... they might go to the show for the R700 rebate.

Futurex is all about corporate image and the pamflet collectors rule the roost.

You will be there tomorrow ...... be ready for PR.

People that want to know about MW crowd around the Sentech stand, NoWire is an unknow brand .......

PS. Don't understand why Sentech chose to put their stand in the basement, you are not even able to demo the product from there .... well not realy ! With the help of some technical wizardry and a 64K VSTAR on the roof you can show clients the amazing speed (not) and blinding Ping results 1000 - 2000 ms.

I was just wondering how they were demonstrating the MyWireless service at the Sandton convention centre. According to the zone locator there is no coverage there. My hubby was there and he said they had a modem there with 4 lights going but 30m away some poor soul couldn't even get one light.

MyDraadloos, I'm not sure if you were there at the wrong time... because the nowire stand was buzzing all day

As I understand it - 256k VSTAR (v-sat) link shared by alomst EVERYONE... no fixed contentions .. so everyone just gets their bit []

As to range of the NodeB - it's in a rack right there in the Sentech stand - not made to be used by anyone not at the show ...

AFAIK Sandton and Rosebank are both supposed to get permanent towers sooner or later... not heard anything about ETA though.

Maybe someone in the loop could give some decent answers ;-)
