Even though I find nothing wrong with Tabasco for every day use, and I use it myself, Sriracha is worlds apart.
To compare the two, Tabasco would be the watered down generic version; Sriracha has so much flavour to it, not just a dull vinegar aftertaste to it and a much "better burn".

I'm sure they're similar - Rooster (Huy Fong) sriracha sauce has done so well that lots of companies are trying to cash in
