Been using my R500 G-Connect data bundle for around a year already, and although I don’t use it for ADSL or 3G any longer, it is great to arrive at an event (like at Sandton today) and be able to use the Wi-Fi without the hassle to buy credits and the like.

Thanks to G-Connect for having non-expiry data bundles…saves me money in the long run!

I don't see any non-expiry data bundles from G-connect all are valid for 30days only.

Care to share how to get non-expiry data bundles?

Buy normal credits (not the 30-day broadband pass). Costs more per MB but never expires.

Hehe, we were just discussing the same issue in the Vodacom section. I'm using GConnect 3G through my Android for updating and syncing social networks and it saves me R80 per month.

The only thing thats a nuisance is the landing page (web login), especially on a cellphone. Good example; For me to browse using Opera Mini, I need to first open the default browser, then sign in and only then use Opera mini. (and typing a username/password is not as pleasant as doing it with a keyboard mouse)
