There is a Samsung promotion in canal walk get a free dex if you have a note 8. Must just have your receipt and imei maybe just take the box with I got a few one and so did my gf just thought I would let guys in cpt know

Went to canal walk. Promotion applies only if you purchased your note after the 26 sep and runs i think until end of October.
Luckily for me guy felt sorry for me.....

I gotta dex and keyboard.... Yay

Since Monday (16 days after receiving the Note) others cannot hear me when I answer incoming calls or make outgoing calls.

It works using speakerphone
It works through my hearing aids (Bluetooth)
It does not record voice
It works on Duo and other IP phone services
Booting into safe mode did not resolve issue
Cache clearing did not help
Sim into my s7edge works fine
Conclusion: issue with phone likely hardware related

I took it to the Vodacom shop where I bought it. Technician quickly confirmed my issue and escalated to the main technical centre. Late yesterday afternoon I received an sms to advise it has been escalated "advanced repair centre" for higher level repair..

Those advanced centres (i normally go to vodacom world in midrand) are very good. I've only had good service with them. They keep one updated all the time.

Good news, thanks. Apparently the Mpumalanga one is in the same building in Nelspruit as the main service centre where I handed it in.

That's awesome they didn't tell me that it needed to be bought after the 26th but ya I'm just glad I got mine now I wait for the Bluetooth earphones.
