Galaxy Note 8

I used my BT headset plus the BT keyboard connect at same time.... Was supprised when I noticed it, didn't know you can do it.
So the Note8 has Bluetooth 5.0 (with multiple device connectivity support), but only Android 8.0 and up supports 5.0 so in typical Samsung fashion they found a way around all that in the meantime and brought support to Android 7.1.1. It's brilliant.

I've had multiple Bluetooth devices connected even on my S7edge. At work I always play music on my phone through my laptop speakers while also having one of my Samsung watches connected.

Ah, I see. Anyways, I'm looking forward to getting my DeX next week. Now I only need to convince the boss to give me a monitor so I can use it at work...
I'm going to see how much of my work I can do with my job.

I use office, email, remote desktop, and visio a lot. Visio will be a problem. But the rest should do. Test temote desktop last night and it's not optomised for Dex yet, so just displays in a smaller window.

I would still be doing most of my work on my laptop, Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, but I'll be able to do less intensive stuff like emails and updating our website from DeX. It will definitely make me more productive. (another reason for the boss to give me a monitor).

But in any case, it would look so cool on my desk and quite fitting for my line of work.

DeX would allow me not to carry my laptop home :D

Most of my work is done on Google, Facebook and Twitter advertising platforms online, so the app I use the most is Google Chrome or in this case it would be Samsung Internet, followed by Excel for Reports and PowerPoint for presentations.

Lucky you. I have to carry my laptop and camera with lenses with me every day. My backpack probably weighs about 11 kg with everything in it. It's quite cumbersome to carry so much weight every day.

I managed to get a decent screen protector. The Tech21 clear screen protector. It fits perfectly and will be compatible with a lot of cases. It's thin and almost unnoticeable. Touch sensitivity is also still good.

Where did you buy your screen protector from

Was fast and easy.
Whew, glad I didn't miss out on this as I have been a huge fan of DeX since Day 1.

that keyboard's touch pad is a bit crappy, but with two usb ports, who cares! :D
Had to do some errands, getting home just now to try it properly. I've got a bachelor's to go to tonight, but I wanted to play on the DeX the whole of tonight nerd problems!

The real test will be this coming week when I leave my laptop at work and try to do some proper work on it.
