Galaxy Note 8

if thats the case, samsung wont see me again as soon as lg brings out a V series phone with a stylus pen, whats the point of oohh wow AMOLED if its this prone to burn in.. naah F that
But their new G series or whatever they rebranding it as will have a new type of lcd (which if burn in occurs is only temporary).

As is the case with all phone lcds.

Has anyone used a non Vodacom branded Note 8, loaded the Vodacom software via sammobile (including CSC files) and got Wi-Fi calling to work?

I should be receiving my note 8 Tommorow , thank you Ebucks

Whats a good screen protector and back cover, that won't break the bank and looks minimal?

I have considered no screen protector, but I know I'll scratch it with keys or something in my pocket.

I don't want a thick case. I'd like to keep it looking as slim as possible but it must have protection for when I drop it and I know I will definitely drop it.

Put your keys in a different pocket.

I asked Vodacom about the Note8 updates. Their response was they are still testing it on the network. Seems like I'll have no option but to de-brand my phone...

Bloody hell how hard is it to let us get security patches at least. Anyone done this unbranding thing?

I might be wrong, but I see that is the crappiest excuse.... what has software update have to do with "test on network" 1st ?

Lol, that is their standard excuse

Phone after phone Vodacom are rubbish at updates. The Note8 is the first phone that I have gone this long without Unbranding but I think I will do it soon. Vodacom have not changed, they are still rubbish at software updates.
