Galaxy Note 8

My local Vodacom outlets are absolutely pathetic. Was told yesterday it will be another two weeks before they will have stock of Note8 accessories.

You right, we do. Spigen is actually not that expensive, compared to UAG for example, and much much better looking as well.

Spigen definitely looks much better than UAG. The last Spigen cases I bought were for my Note4. I got two cases from Amazon. I paid about R200 a case, compared to local prices which were about R600 each.
 
I think if I were to buy a rugged case I would go for the Samsung one. It seems like it offers more protection for the curved screen edges than other cases.

Jissie, I checked recently at a Vodacom shop and they were going for around R300-ish

The 1 I bought from Amazon for my V20 worked out to about R230 incl shipping :)
 
I noticed something interesting yesterday. I wanted to take a photo of some birds coming into the house to steal food. A message popped up on the screen informing me that I would get better quality pictures if the camera lenses were clean.

I found it quite amusing...
 
Its seems like the uag are the first cases released here for samsung. With the s7, s8 and now note range. So alot of people who are wanting to protect there devices have no option but to buy and pay the outrageous amount along with those horrible body glove screen protectors
