I might also add. After 10 minutes of using it in that cover I immediately put it back in the rugged case.

The case makes the buttons feel so much nicer than the phone itself.

And the overall feel of the phone is also just better. The thickness also doesn't bother me at all.

Samsung really did something awesome when they designed the rugged case.

I think the Samsung rugged case may be the only case that offers some protection for the curved edges of the screen, unfortunately I'm not prepared to pay the inflated price. Takealot currently sells them for R999.
 
So I managed to drain my Note 8's battery after 10hours 30min. With 7h SOT.

Hey all I have a question. Using the messages app, I can send chat messages to my friend who has a S8+ but I can't send these chat messages to my other friend with a Note8. Any ideas? It only sends via sms. Enhanced messaging is on.

What is Enhanced Messaging? Like iMessage from apple?
 
Does anyone else have a problem with their Contacts Application?
Mine shows lots of duplicate numbers/names.

I delete a contact, then I create that contact again with only the one number for that person. Then when I look again, that contact has another number added from another contact on my phone. And no, I didn't do it.

It's really irritating. Makes me worried that I might send messages to the wrong person.

That's strange. I know the app has a menu for merging duplicate contacts.
 
must say im loving my note 8 dual sim, the only thing that bothers me is that if i take a phone call on sim 1 then it stops sharing i ternet on my hotspot from sim 2, that sucks

To what account are the contacts synced?
