I've used Dual Messenger forces WhatsApp. Maybe that was my problem.

I disabled it now and uninstalled the copy of WhatsApp.

How do you get whatsapp set up in Secure Folder?
Open Secure folder, at the top it says add app. Select that and then select WhatsApp. It will load that app into the secure folder and then you can use another number with it. It will only work (receive messages) when secure folder is opened and you on the app apparently.

A big question for all note 8 owners are you all happy with your devices
I am not happy with my battery life. And am considering gping back to s8 plus as it seems to be better maintained by the operators.

The note hasnt had a single update. But yet again can a future update improve battery amoungst other things

I am quite happy with mine and particularly the battery life.

I really can't complain about battery life.

Heavy usage, I get half a day. But that's with 6 to 7 hours SOT.

Average usage I get through the day with 20-30% left. That's with 4 to 5 hours SOT.

I am absolutely loving my Note8, I am getting similar battery life to my S7 Edge.

It's everything I wanted, expect the placement of the FPS which can be improved, I don't mind it but it could be better.

Other than that, this phone has been a solid performer for me, the Camera, the Display, the SPen, the Design etc etc etc... It all is just right for me.

There is a security update coming between this and next week. If Updates are a worry for you, then Note is not the way to go, ever. We had a similar situation with the Note 4 where it got an update fresh out-the-box, and then no updates for a few months, but as we talk today, the Note 4 continues to get Security Updates. I see the Note8 going the same route, the updates will begin rolling in more frequently as the time goes, as was the case with Note 4, but updates for now will be slower.

The fact that we have not received a single update, is a samsung thing, not a Vodacom thing. Note's are known to updated slowly.
My battery life on the Note is exactly the same as my S8+, I can't tell the difference to be honest.
