Bixby stayed disabled on Oreo

I'm seriously considering rooting my Note8 since I can't change its region. I bought the phone for all its features but then some are disabled like Oxygen saturation.

I don't want to flash roms, only need to enable stuff that's disabled.

Ok, I'm of the same opinion as you, so I'm gonna install Dr Ketan ROM. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Well there's your problem right there. Someone else is getting your notifications

Nope, did you clear the Cache Partition after the update? That's what I always do after an update and never have problems.

For me Oreo has been solid andoatly feels like Nougat, I keep forgetting I got the update, until I see the little differences e.g. with the Emojis and apps going into PiP.

Battery life looks better to me

For me battery life on Oreo is no different to Nougat, I have not seen an increase or decrease.

I am satisfied with the battery life, it's getting me through some of the longest days at work.

That happens to another Samsung of mine when it's not fully unlocked.

Whenever that occurs can you use the rest of the phone without having to turn off the screen and reunlock?

Another nice feature that I found, if you hide the nav bar, then press the home button and also swipe left/right, it works like the nav bar
