Like I said before get the cheap phone.

I have proof of purchase for mine. Bought it from FNB. But it's cool if you're not comfortable.

In my opinion the Note9 is worth it. I have both and the Note9 does everything that the Note 8 does, but does it much better.

How much do you want for the Note 8?
 
Got my Note 8 on Saturday morning. Bought it on the MTN special. Did all of the updates (Orea and security), and I have to say...what a piece of kit.

Hope it will last me as long as the Note 4 did. :)

What wireless chargers are you using? What thickness of cover is going to have an impact on it?

I am considering a wireless charger/cradle for the car as well.

Note8 should serve you well, had mine since launch last year and still thoroughly enjoying it.

Experiencing this with my Note 5. Have a heart attack everytime it happens :(

If I back up my Note 5 and Note 10 to the cloud can the data be stored separately?

I read about your bad luck with that! Eish!

Luckily no, I live in Jeffrey's Bay. Only so many streets.... ;) So I'll only use it for navigating every now and then, e.g. like when we are on holiday.

It's more about having an easy to reach/easy to use place where the phone can live and charge at the same time. :)
