This is a change on Android 9, not just Samsung. Im not sure if you can change it back.

I'm getting used to it. It's a small adjustment to made from always looking at the top right for the time to looking to the left

In other news. The XFE firmware is now on Sammobile
 
After the update Ive noticed if I pull down to open the notification panel I need to press harder than before and pull down a lot more. Pushing up to open the app draw is as before, a light swipe does the trick.
Anyone else having this issue?
 
Assuming we should have the update on MTN by 2024.... :)

Nope. Swiping down at the top of the screen lightly from any screen brings up my notification panel instantly.

On the home screen swiping down from any part of the screen gently brings down the notification panel instantly also. Do you have this setting turned on?

Yes i have this setting turned on.
 
People in Keny are reporting they are getting Android 8 OTA... and here we are with nothing on MTN...
 
Just flash XFE. Nothing else on your device will change.

You get used to it. I'm enjoying the hidden navigation buttons and the night mode.

Let me know how your battery life changes. I feel I have much longer standby/idle time and faster drain when using the phone even with night mode on
