Galaxy Note is over 5"!! That's HUGE!! From iPhone 3 to 4S would be a decent upgrade or if you keen on Android take the SGS2. Still the most accomplished of the droid handsets...

Agree with all of the above and that Note really is crazy big. I was at Vodaworld yesterday and was watching someone using a Note on a call... That thing was nearly as big as her head.

SGS2 would be my choice.
You have the freedom of choice of Android without being tied down to what Apple want you to do.

You get used to the Note's size very quickly. Now it's not big anymore, every other phone just seems puny.

I have the SGS2 awesome phone ...but i am now looking to get the galaxy note

Nobly replied to my note thread but oh well on what contracts are available on mtn. Anyway, will just get a Bluetooth headset to use with the note so as not to look silly sticking a book to my ear

Both are very good phones, though Apple has the more established App Market.
Even to this day, I struggle to find app on Android, that rival the quality of those on the App Store.

Sometimes I wish I traded my Transformer in for an iPad..

Androids AP market is very rich. Apple has to many workarounds, struggles to play different video formats, and the SA Apple market sucks
Galaxy note is way better, faster and slicker

Galaxy Note. Its big in the beginning but you get used to it. Awesome phablet

Had an iPad. Sold it. iOS is terrible after using Android.
Android market growing in leaps and bounds and will soon be larger than Apples. There are some dodgy quality apps, but many more that are A grade.

I am using the Android market....
I have also used the App Market..

Based on my personal experience.. Apple App Market wins hands down at the moment.
I'm still trying to find an Android app that's as well developed as PenUltimate on iPad.

Funny, but I can watch all my videos on an iPad without a problem.

Get the Note, its both a GS2 and Galaxy Tab in one.

UI is VERY fast and smooth, the 1280x800 res 5.3inch Super AMOLED is just beautiful, vibrant and lively, Camera is good, seriously powerful hardware and on top of all that Android and the huge SAMSUNG Mod community are all worth leaving Apple.
