Galaxy note or Iphone 4s

I like the size of the Note but how does that thing look in your pocket???

I'm not really a iPhone fan. Yes, I have a iPhone 4S and it's not fun to have it because you can't do anything with it yet.

on the same as dudleygb, the ability to find unrestricted apps on the android market place is amazing, i recently got a galaxy tab 10.1!! and i can say the freedom of android market is awesome the abily to download file manages and what not is awesome, someone that apple app store will never see (ie. apps that open the phones OS up in other words) and yes i can speak coming from a iphone user! got my blackberry and my galaxy tab, the tab was a decision i wont retract on!! the android market place may be 30% smaller but look how long its been up and the feature rich apps are awesome!

True, well there is plenty of apps that is also not on the market, or on other devices for that matter, take for example WiFiKill or Anti

decent file managers on ios? better chance of seeing unicorns in my backyard...

i have the iphone 4 (which im keeping for now) and i just bought the galaxy note to replace my second phone the HTC desire Z ( which is going to be left all alone gathering dust now so im thinking of selling it ) ...
About the NOTE , It's very huge , you'll either LOVE it or HATE it , there's no in between ...
you need to ask yourself if you text a lot and if you do so with one hand...
That's a huge decision in choosing between the Note and the 4S...
if you type a lot single handed then please go for the 4S.
the Note is big and can only be used effectively in terms of typing with two hands.
The stylus is a bit of a gimmic i believe but you will find it handy more so than you think.
Not that much for making notes tho...
More for editing pics , screenshots ect...

Both are very good phones, though Apple has the more established App Market.
Even to this day, I struggle to find app on Android, that rival the quality of those on the App Store.

I agree with this, but in the end both of them are great phones.

iPhone 4S vs. Galaxy Nexus comparison:

It's a bit disappointing to see that, even on Android 4.0, there is still choppiness in the web browser scrolling. Otherwise though, the latest version of Android is looking very smooth and polished.
