I've purchased package disabler pro disable some Samsung bloat. No root required. Unsure if it speeds up the device but according to some peeps it does.

Just a word of caution, careful what you disable as it could break some settings etc.

I disable a few manually in setting.

Once in the app in the menu is an item called bloatware. I disabled most of them. Just go through the list though. It has a Google function build in to see what those packages do.

The 1st problem with the Note 9.

I've realised that it sets off those alarms at the entrance to certain shops. Not sure which stores but it's happened a few times. Today at Checkers.
I took the case off to test and its definitely the phone. I wonder if its bluetooth or something.

Can you mense keep an eye out if it happens to you and report back please

I've been to a few stores and that hasn't happened to me. I have BT, NFC and WiFi on.

That's very odd. I cannot think of any new component the Note9 would have that would cause that. NFC definitely shouldn't affect that as it requires things to be very close.

In terms of Bluetooth and WiFi I am pretty sure it uses the same components as the S9+.

Unless the BT integration with the SPen is causing that, but the Pen is tucked in to the phone at the time, yes?

Not happening to me either. Have Bluetooth on to connect with my hearing aids. UAG case.

Eish, I miss the days of Samsung ADH. It's needed now more than ever before with these mostly glass devices.
