Hi all

I'm trying to set an image as my wallpaper, but no matter what I do, it keeps zooming and cropping the image. I've tried with various images, same result. Even If I take a photo with the tablet and set that as my wallpaper background, it zooms and crops it.

I've even tried on my pc and resized a couple of images to 1280 X 800. In Gallary ALL images are scaled to fit the screen in the width, but whenever I try and set any of them as wallpaper. I crops the things. The wallpaper fills the screen, but its a zoomed and cropped version.

A weird cropping thing comes up at the point when I set an image as wallpaper, but even if I stretch and scale the grips of this I get same result.

Man this is so frustrating. All I want is to set an image as background, and scale or stretch it in the width to fit the screen. Windows 95 could even do this no problem. So why does it seem like I have to re-invent the wheel to do such a simple task? Or am I just being an idiot and I'm missing some obvious setting somewhere?

The reason is because it's trying to make the image fit across all your home screens, the pictures resolution isnt actually 1280x800 it's 1280x1600 I think that way the picture will fit across all your home screens, or you can download a launcher that you can restrict the number of home screens, or one that allows one image across them all.

Try Wallpaper Wizardrii from Play store, solved all my wallpaper scaling woes...
