So I brought one of these off gumtree,

No box, no paperwork no nada, was cheap tho, and was a Original Samsung, not a Copy (I hope)

worked when dude showed it to me, charged fine, worked well, until I tried to update it to a more updated version of Tizen O/S
update went through, booted up, but as the battery was low after the update, left it to charge,

went to sleep, and when I woke up, Watch was boot-looping constantly, would show booting up screen then disappear, then again, boot-up screen and then go away.
tried some of the suggestions online, hold down power, hold down back, hold down both ect ect... made no difference whatsoever

spoke to the dude I got it from, was decent enough to tell me to take it in and see if it could be repaired, and if not said he'd refund me.
(hope so, but it was cheap, becuase he had NOTHING no box, manuals, receipt, nada)

so sent it to cellucity, got a quote for the equivalent of 3 watches essentially! or 1 NEW watch.
but thought to at least ask here, been to a few Paki shops was told they dont fix those,

what else can I try?

Head to the nearest iStore and switch it for Apple Watch.

Define cheap, what did it cost you?

Generally, those smartwatches are not that repairable like your cellphones.

Bootlooping after the update, is a never a good sign. I suspect that a chip/IC is not responding properly, or some hardware authentication checks fails, which causes it to crash, and start over again.

The only recourse I can think of, is to let it drain the battery and then you put it on the charger. Do not turn it on. Hopefully it will only be in a off state, for you to turn it on again.

If it bootloops after this, then I think you have exhausted all options, unless there is some other thing you can try, that I'm not aware of.

Best of luck.

Maybe this works

> Turn the Galaxy Watch off.

> Press and hold the Power key until 'Rebooting' displays at the bottom of the screen.

> Press the Power key three times quickly until the 'Select Reboot Mode' screen displays.

> Press the Power key several times to highlight ' Recovery'.

> Press and hold the Home key for three seconds to select, until the Galaxy Watch begins rebooting.

I got a 45mm GW 3 Wifi+BT in the drawer, pondering if I should sell it...
