I had an eSim added to my MTN contract number so that I can use my Galaxy Watch 5 LTE away from my S22 Ultra.
In the Samsung Wearables app I was able to scan the QR code that MTN sent me and the phone and watch are all good to go and is logged onto the MTN network.... however.... if I attempt to make a call from my watch I get a message to say this number is Rica locked, please visit your MTN store with required RICA info to unlock. I go to MTN store and they say they cant see anywhere online that I am Un- RICA'd. They also say that its not required to RICA an eSim as long as your main number it is connected to is RICA'd, which mine is and I am able to call from my main number.
Does anyone have any other info of maybe what I have done wrong or what I should be doing?
